FUNDING

We have decided NOT to apply for RADF funding, this time round, and just go for the Logan City Council Community Development Funding which opens in May. We felt that this was a better option to fund our workshops at the Butter Factory.

Unfortunately the ETC funding was unsuccessful. We had progressed through to the final stage but were declined as we had applied after the cutoff date. The people who Stephan were collaborating with, really liked our concept and asked that we still put in an application even though late … so we’ll go again next round.

Mick has completed our acquittal for the GCBF and we take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone at the GCBF for not only the funding which has helped us immensely, but also for the friendly advice and support of the Liaison Officers.

PARTNERING with SWARA

Upcoming dates for Swara are 30th April and 14th May. As always we look forward to these events, dancing and singing with our friends at Swara.

BUTTER FACTORY WORKSHOPS

We are excited to be presenting our Musical Workshops at the Butter Factory in September and Warren, Stephan and Cathy are constantly brainstorming on how these will unfold.

ENDEMOL SHINE

DEAI were recently approached by Endemol Shine Australia about a new TV Music series that follows a group of talented musicians living with disability, on a quest for inclusion, equality, accessibility and change.

THE HUB

Warren has been creatively working on developing our new website which is still a work in progress but we hope to launch it very soon.

Our musicians are always developing, and creating ways in which we can help the neurodivergent disability sector enhance their musical skills, uploading and recording music which takes into account sensory overload, all while developing their own personal careers … Thank you so much Warren, Stepan and Cathy.
