OUR NEWS >>>
FUNDING
- We are currently working on an application for the Logan City Council’s “Community Development Fund” which is due to be submitted on the 28th May. This funding will support the production and delivery costs for our Musical Workshop at the Kingston Butter Factory later in the year.
ETC SPONSORSHIP (Employment Training Community)
- A BIG THANK YOU to the team at ETC who have offered Sponsorship for the developmental side of our Kingston Butter Factory workshops.
We missed out on our grant funding from them BUT they loved our concept and have offered $5000 Sponsorship. We are so GRATEFUL, thank you.
PARTNERING with SWARA
- Our first Swara gig for May was on the 14th May and we are seeing lots of new participants who are eager to join in and come up on stage to show their talents. Sadly, a few of our regulars have changed their days and we miss their awesome personalities.
- Next gigs are on 28th May and 11th June.
BUTTER FACTORY WORKSHOPS
- Brainstorming on how these workshops will be presented has been constant and a script for Logan Art’s landing page has now been submitted to Logan Council.
- Tickets will be $10. Stay tuned for further information as the time draws closer.
- If you know of anyone (living within the neouradivergent/disabled sector) who may be interested in attending, please spread the word.
ENDEMOL SHINE
- Warren did get through to the second stage, but we haven’t had any further updates. They were due to start filming in April so I guess that’s as far as we got!
THE HUB
- Stephan and Warren have been spending a lot of their time working on the development and delivery of the Kingston Butter Factory Music Workshops which will start on the 17th September.
- Peter and Warren have also been designing the new website .. thanks guys.
- The reproduction of Lucky Country is progressing. Warren has been in contact with the Brisbane Aboriginal Community to organise some aboriginal singers.
